No sound, Dell Dimension 2400, XP
Hi; need some expert help!
I have a Dell 2400 running Windows XP. I had the operating system restored and when it came back, I had no sound. When I look at by device manager, I get the dreaded yellow exclamation point next to the sound device indicating a problem. The sound device is listed as a C Media AC97 Sound Device. I would appreciate it if someone could point me to an appropriate device driver and tell me how to install.
