Okay, I’m not a computer geek and there should probably be a law against me doing anything more than answering emails…

I was trying to figure out why I get feedback when I’m hosting webinars and figured it was because my computer mic is probably still turned on even though I prefer to do the audio through my phone. I went into the control panel and ‘deactivated’ the microphone under the recording tab thinking it would just turn it of, but instead it appears to have wiped it out. There are no options in that tab anymore so I can’t ‘reactivate’ it.

I’m working on an HP pavillion, Vista. The other info re: internal speaker headphone says it’s conexant v4.10.1.0

Do I need to reinstall a driver to be able to get the mic back so I can record? if so, where do I find the driver and how do I install it?
