hey guys….. im new here.. hope you can help me out

I have a Sony VAIO notebook with a code of PCG-491P while I have been looking around this code in the internet, it seems this product does notexist. But I did come across an identical product called PCG-TR2 Sony VAIO,do you know whether they are the same?

If they are the same, If I buy a recovery disk from this website, or even others, would it still work considering this machine was bought from Singapore?

I did call Sony australia for a recovery disk, he said that a product from overseas would not be able to accept different region recovery cd.
