error code 39 (USB mass storage won’t work)

hi all,

i’m having the same problem as tala.

-my pc just could not recognize any kinds of flash disk or any USB mass storage i tried to plug in it.

- in the device manager the “USB mass storage” has a yellow exclamation point on it and whenever i click on its properties it says that : “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing”. (Code 39)

anyone out there pls help me pls…..

en bref j’ai acheté un pc portable hp pavillon processeur Mobile DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57, 1900 MHz (9.5 x 200)
avec un OS vista
j’ai essayer de in dstaller win xp et j’ai rencontrer plusieurs probleme
sur win xp je ne trouve pas les drivers de la carte graphique nVIDIA nForce 7150M-630M et de la carte son “Conexant Unknown ?”
quelqu’un peut m’aider à trouver le systeme vista en gardant xp et où je peut recuperer mes drivers

EEKK sounds like you have real ongoing problems there, if you have a usb key or thumb drive, then just plug that it and drag all your files that you want to keep, onto that, then use a fresh windows and re-install the whole thing, putting the recovery cd in last, when the found new hardware dialog boxes appear. it should be as simple as that. !!
